Our Seminar and Program Offerings:
A half day seminar that explores the basics of being an entrepreneur. Asks the participant to review their personal needs and business needs. Covers starting a business; buying an existing business; entering into a franchise. Participants leave with an idea of what it will take to be an entrepreneur.
Explores various pricing components and methods: cost plus pricing; competitive pricing; market pricing and value based pricing. Participants leave with skills to create high perceived value.
Explores entrepreneurial characteristics; market needs and product/service value; and basic financial considerations for starting a business. Participants leave with a basic business concept statement.
Explore the pluses and minuses of entering into a franchise agreement. Participants leave with a realistic understanding of the opportunities and the pitfalls of owning a franchise.
An eight session program that discusses the aptitude; characteristics; attitudes; traits necessary for effective leadership. Targeted to those that are in newly assigned roles; emerging leaders; aspiring leaders. Participants leave with an overall clear understanding of what it takes to become an effective leader.
Sessions include: Achieving Excellence; Attitude and Creative Problem Solving; Team Building; Conflict Management; Change Management; Setting and Achieving Goals; Influential Presentation Skills. A half day seminar touching on the high points of the program is available.
Discusses the reasons for a formal business plan; the basic elements of a business plan and what is involved in completing one. Participants leave with a thorough understanding of the components and uses of a formal business plan.
Targeted at those who have an existing business plan that is tired; not used; dust covered and on the shelf. Session will re-energize the participants by revisiting the business plan fundamentals; pushing out of comfort zone stretching to reach the next plateau of growth.

Targeted specifically to entrepreneurs who have experience running their businesses. This program provides the tools and support to carefully review and evaluate important aspects of your business, explore next stage growth and opportunity, and reshape your existing business for future profitability and improved business performance. Ten three-hour sessions.
Intended for technology and life science entrepreneurs these sessions provide the tools to develop and/or hone the skills needed, as a technology entrepreneur, to understand the business behind the technology - skills to start, operate, fund, and grow a technology or life-sciences business. Ten three-hour sessions.
This four hour program is for existing entrepreneurs to establish a three-year vision. The session guides you through a process of reflection, vision, and planning and provides tools to take a closer look at where your business is today, what you want it to look like in three years, and the steps to get there.

Robert "Bob" Graham
Robert H. Graham is the founder of Robert Graham Associates, LLC, a consulting firm dealing with process improvement and optimization. He has held several positions in a Fortune 50 company in areas of quality assurance and manufacturing management, technical sales, new venture management, R&D and the manufacturing development of new materials and products in support of the national space program.
In addition, he has held an executive management position in a privately held materials manufacturing company that developed and produced advanced technology components for worldwide electronic applications. He also has experience with process improvement through a non-profit community resource consortium in the field of healthcare.
Bob has served as the Director of Development for an inner-city, non-profit, K-12 educational organizational and is also an adjunct professor in a university business school coordinating and teaching a business consulting course for graduate students in their MBA program.
He is a graduate of the FastTrac® program and is a certified facilitator for the Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City, MO. Bob holds a B.S. and M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla.
Bill Ringle
For over 12 years, Bill Ringle, President of System Ringle, has served as a trusted business advisor for owners and leaders of family businesses and privately held companies. Before launching System Ringle Bill built Pittsburgh Flatroll, a startup company, from a closed steel mill into a $10-million producer of aerospace alloys. Following that, he was president of a titanium processing company. He led this business to achieve 52 consecutively profitable months and extended the company’s market reach domestically and internationally.
Bill translated this high-level business expertise into a system that assists owners and leaders to achieve their business goals. In one-on-one, collaborative relationships with Bill, they learn how to broaden their roles as business owners who work on their businesses rather than just in their businesses.
Bill works comfortably with product and service businesses anywhere business fundamentals can be ingrained into the fabric of a client’s business. His proven business system and methods provide sustainable results for business owners committed to achieving more for their customers, teams and families.
David Fair
David L. Fair: Fair is the former President & CEO of the SMC Business Councils. In this capacity he provided strategic leadership and overall direction for the trade association. His forty year career has been exclusively in manufacturing with diverse assignments in operations, R&D, engineering, sales, and business management. He has worked for Fortune 100 firms, family owned businesses and created several ventures on his own.
Recognized as a leader and team builder, Fair has directed all aspects of a business – operations; staff; organizational development; finance. He has worked in a wide range of industries including chemicals, metals, electronics, materials testing and biotechnology. This experience includes domestic and international activities.
Fair is the founder of D2 Business and Manufacturing Solutions, LLC , a consulting firm that helps small and medium size businesses reach their full potential through strategic planning, management and leadership counseling. As a principal with The Callidus Group, a certified mentor with SCORE and an Executive-in-Residence with PowerLink, David has helped guide entrepreneurs through both the start-up and the early growth phases of their ventures.
Fair is an active board member for Propel Schools Foundation and Valley Care Association, a division of Lutheran Senior Life. David has a B.S. in chemical engineering from Lehigh University and an M.S. in management from National Louis University. He is also is a certified facilitator for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation’s FastTrac® entrepreneurial education program. He holds 10 U.S. and foreign patents.
